Recently refurbished parking area next to Shoreham Fort and a National Coast Watch station. Short walk to the pebble beach.
The main parking area adjacent now has a 2.1M height restriction (no longer a width restriction) and operates as a Pay & Display. However, just before the entrance there are a number of spaces on Forthaven Road it's self. These include 4 normal spaces and 3 extra wide and slightly longer spaces which are ideal for most motorhomes. Do note that there is now limited turning space at the end of the road if all the spaces are full.
These spaces have the following parking restrictions (separate from the main Pay & Display adjacent), Monday to Saturday, from 8am to 6pm maximum stays of 4 hours and no return within 4 hours.
There is also a sign at this location stating "Overnight Camping Prohibited - Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994, Offenders liable to prosecution, West Sussex County Council" - so best to stick to daytime parking only.
